OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE ROLE:
Enter AP invoices, run and review AP outstanding, process weekly check runs for full cycle. The Accounting Associate assists with monitoring accruals and prepaids analysis Deposit client checks, process client ACH and credit cards Accounting Associate issues credit memos and refunds Contact clients as needed and provide invoices, statements or follow up on AR balances due PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE ROLE:
Associates or bachelors degree required. Accounting Associate should have at least 2 years of payables/receivables experience Moderate experience with Excel. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
