Qualifications:
The Internet Manager is responsible for ensuring customer retention, unit sales and profitability through online vehicle sales.
The Internet Manager will work directly with employees and customers to develop relationships and help bridge the disconnect in the sales process via online.
Forecast annual and monthly goals and objectives for the Internet department Coordinate Internet promotions and advertising Research auto-buying services on the Internet and acts as liaison with any services the dealership uses to promote its site or advertise Update the Web site frequently to attract new and repeat visitors Explain, implement, and enforce dealership policies, emphasizing customer satisfaction and positive dealership image Ensure proper follow up of all potential buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a prospecting and sales control system Promote teamwork in a customer-focused sales environment throughout the sales, delivery and follow-up process Follow up on all Internet leads daily Build rapport with customers to build a base of referrals to establish customer network Provide training and support to the sales staff on Phone & Internet skills and assist in closing sales Help manage inventory online and incentives Work with third party vendors such as AutoTrader and Cars.
